Need Help! Wheels to paint or not?

Hello all

My Jaguar dealer has an option to paint my Turbine wheels (silver) to black. I have seen a black pair they painted to go on a white F-type they had just done. They are glossy black. So the question is would you get them painted black? I have attached a few pics of my car as is to view. I would love feedback.

I would do it, especially since it's a glossy black. If you haven't checked already, see if they have a demo of a wheel like that in the same finish you want, which can help with deciding.

Another thing to consider is getting a nice set of aftermarket wheels and save these as your beater wheels or sell them once you get the new wheels

personally I don't think black on black will look too great. Maybe if you had a vivid colored caliper

gunmetal is not a bad choice

I think if you are looking for a really dark look on your F-Type you should go with gunmetal. All black will cheapen the look of the car and will detract because there won't be as much contrast. The gunmetal is really in right now.

I have stated elsewhere on this forum, I just don't get the black wheel thing, and especially on your car where a little contrast is nice vs making it look like something Jay-Z would drive.

it works on some cars. but only some. But the car can't be all black. There needs to be colors elsewhere.. Either carbon parts.. or different colored brakes.
