I spoke to manhattan jaguar today and they are actually aware of the problem. The thing is they are claiming my car was built after the problem was identified. So now I am perplexed. Im taking the car in tomorrow, hopefully there will be a solution.

Just received calls from Dealer and Jag USA. I am taking the car in on Monday for the dealer to work with Jag Tech to fix the problem. If that doesn't work, Jag is going to fly a Tech in to work on the car. I hope they find a fix to help others fix this problem.
NOTE: If the tech is coming from up North, I am sure he wishes it was January rather than now. A free FL vacation!

You should try contacting Jaguar HQ, speak to some higher up's. I wonder if it would fall under the lemon law if the problem persist for a long time

I will, I just have to make time and when I do take it in, if the dealer can't duplicate the clunk than there's nothing they can do, I think I'm going to contact jag and maybe they will have one of their reps drive the car for a few days so they can here it.

It might even be something they send an engineer down to investigate since it's still very new. I know this is the case with some new cars.

Yeah it`s not something we`d expect since this is Jaguar we`re dealing with and not Ford.

At least now people know what to expect

My car is current in the shop for this problem. However, since I called Jag USA, Jag is helping my dealer figure out what the problem is.

The plan is for my dealer to be on the phone with a Tech from Jag, who is going to help find the problem. Jag USA also said that if that doesn't work Jag was going to send someone down here to figure it out.

Yesterday, when I dropped my car off, my service advisor did say that now that Jag is involved he can get authorization to try new parts. I believe they can only swap parts with Jag's okay.

If they fix my car, I will post what was done.

I would recommend that any owners that have had the current "fix" installed and still have the noise, go to Jag USA web site and click on "Contact Us" at the bottom of the page and request help. If enough owners let Jag USA know DIRECTLY of this problem something might happened. Remember Jaguar thinks the current fix works.
