|Mountainsman||The Jaguar brakes are very good - and better than the brembo brakes on our Range Rover Sport MY14 5.0SCV8. I appreciate that the RRS is heavier. The brembos will fade, but have never had fading issues with the F-type R or XFR, no matter how spirited the driving has been.|

|Enthusiast||Cross-drilled rotors help with cooling in the highest performance situations and definitely look cool. However, the wear quicker, cause more wear on the pads, and tend to crack around the holes. Definitely a plus and minus situation.|

that is a nice setup.
Looks like a 6 pot brembo caliper with 2 piece drilled rotors.

actually its debatable if cross drilling or slotting actually has any benefit.
its a pros and cons sort of deal. but its proven that regular flat rotors have the potential to offer more than enough braking power
its a back and forth argument.

Does anyone know why the rotors on the F are not cross drilled? It seems common practice on all performance cars for the obvious reason of keeping the rotor temperature cooler. I can't think of a reason why they wouldn't have done it, but there must be one since the cost is negligible for an apparent benefit.
