Look forward to hearing from you.
I have exactly the same issue and my dealer can't figure it out at all. It's so bad that I have to depress the brake harder to stop the car from moving forward.

Jaguar have a fix!

You all had a bit of a dig at me for my reported 'clunk' on the transmission/drive train but Jaguar have now issued a fix for it and my car is a the dealer being mended.

f1champ Actually, I just noticed this forum and my V8S is having the same issue and finally the dealer today said Jag has a service bulletin for this issue.

I would get this issue whenever I hit bumps or over incline/decline.

good point. being 30 years old and considering the era of music you grew up in, in your earlier days it will be much different from the much older folks on here.

Imthemap Well the only time the top goes down is with company and I'm 30 so my taste in music is probably a little different then most owners here.

jrybarski Imthemap, you almost had me believing you until you made that ludicrous claim about getting the radio to play loud enough to cover the exhaust note in Dynamic mode.
That really isn't possible now, is it? True up!

Imthemap Um so everyone here is aware that they bought a 490hp go cart right? It's a machine just like every other car on the road that has moving parts that sometimes clank. Shoot mine is real bad but I drive around in dynamic mode with the radio loud enough to cover the exhaust note. And even with the car totally quiet I have yet to have a female passenger say anything about the clank. They do appreciate the quickness of the top function though. Plus first year of any car is going to have its issues, I'm just not convinced that noises or rattles are actually issues. High five on devoting that much energy to having the dealer correct it though. Prolly need a new set of rear tires soon so I'll check to see what the latest and greatest fix is at that visit.

I wouldn't be all that surprised if it is, it's possible, something to consider.

9039PG Yes but I only notice it in slow traffic when the gearbox is changing down from 2 to 1 before coming to a halt. It also happens when you are at a standstill and you engage D or R.
