Talking Jaguar ALIVE Driving Experience

Aloha!

Has anyone ever received information for these? I was under the impression that owners get the academy free. But no one called me back from the dealership

I haven't heard of owners getting the driving academy for free, but that would be really cool. I have really been wanting to do one of these driving academies, learn some fancy driving maneuvers. Has anyone taken lessons like these from jaguar or another brand before?

Along with contacting your dealer about this you might also want to contact Jaguar USA, they might be of more help and be more supportive of people who buy their products. People in dealerships aren't really the most helpful at times.

Anyone who buys/leases an 'R' level vehicle can attend the R Performance Academy at no charge. Others can attend but pay - $1,850.

Got to love the perks of being an R owner.
At $1,850 it's not cheap but well worth the experience for anyone who will appreciate and enough it.

This Performance Academy was at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX on the 7th of May. The guy in the black shirt in the middle of the drivers is Ben Collins (The Stig) if you've seen Top Gear on BBC America. He took each of us drifting around a figure 8 track. I'm 3rd from the left. I can't describe how much fun this was. I bought an 2014 XKR so was sent the invitation from Jaguar USA. I have a 2015 F-Type R Coupe arriving about the 6th of June, so I'll get another invitation for a "free" Academy. All you have to do is buy a $115,000.00 car and you get the Level 1 free. It has to be any R model. Anyone can attend and a lot of the people there didn't even own a Jaguar at all. It's worth twice what they charge, I promise you.
