F-Type Gets Smoked by a Model S

Although it is a V6S the Tesla leaves it BEHIND. No word on range reduction, no fires reported

I think a lot of people don't realize how fast the Model S can go. I was surprised that it could beat the F-Type so handily. Shows you that electric cars are able to keep up, if you have enough money.

Oh well, both are great cars and both have their purpose. Put both on a road course track and see the F-Type smoke the Tesla.

If you watch the video closely, that is why they are laughing, they jumped the start. also the tesla is a nice car but no where near as luxurious as the Jag and while he is charging your driving. Def not apples to apples in any way.

That must have been the high end model. There are 3 versions and I would like to see what the base can do. My guess is it would loose against the f-type. The highest model is very fast and I can see this happening unless its a V8S.

Didn't notice that but now that i watched it again i do notice it. Sucks they did that. We'll have to see a REAL race, not some fools messing around calling it a race

Electric cars have all their torque right away. So they pull hard

I'd like to see one go up against a V8 S

Insta-torque, no switch. right from the line and on wet pavement. But then again yes it is an electric you might as well take the tesla and race some supercars.

That will be cool. The F-Type is closer to supercar performance than a lot of cars, I can see the Tesla S taking on some real supercars. Still would rather have a big high output V8 over electric motors
